Brief overview
Place of origin: Trinity planet, Naval System, Outer Borders A2
Names: SAIs never needed names on their homeworld, because they could easily identify themselves. When names became needed, most of them got nicknames assigned to them by travelers, merchants, etc.
Physiology: Humanoids. Two legs, two arms, one torso and one head. Big orb in their head that works like an eye and vocoder. Body made out of metal present only in them, eye made out plexiglass-like material, but far more resiliant. Figures dictate voices - a manly figure gives manly voice, a feminine figure gives a feminine voice. Body and eye tints vary for individuals. Some of them have magnetically sealed hands, arms and even heads. This does not allow them to rocket punch from afar, but gives them the possibility of moving the limbs in almost every direction without constraint. Strength and reflexes a bit better than average human.
Life span: N/A, probably no time limit for living. They do not have things like maturity or age on their homeworld, only knowledge.
Psychology:
- Talk in a strange way. They always tell their intention before the sentence - "Confirmation: Yes, I've seen them.", or "Probing: What do you mean?" - with an emotionless sound.
- They, or anyone else do NOT know what SAI stands for.
- They are inquisitive and eager to learn about the world.
- They are an autonomous and independant race of A.I. machinations.
- Their moral compass sets in a direction dependant on their environment. While they are naturally neutral on their homeworld, they change their morality because of the people around them - if they hang around too long near an evil group, they will most likely become like them. When they stick to law-abiding citizens, they'll be like them, too. Once set, the moral compass is nearly impossible to change by themselves, either to set on a new path or restart from being neutral.
- It is impossible to remotely take control of a SAI.
Technology level: Advanced, if not very.
